The charging speed for a L2 charger varies based on how much power is going into the charger and your EV. In most cases, your charger will be connected to a 40 amp circuit. The maximum amount of power available can only be 80% of the circuit capacity, so in this case, it would be 32 Amps. If your EV is larger, it will consume more power, therefore, it will take longer to charge. A good general rule of thumb is that your EV will charge at about 40 kilometres per hour.
Your panel should have two available space on it and not exceed the load parameters. If you don’t have enough space, or you already have fully used up the available power, don’t worry. We have solutions for that!
